No. As long as two or more participants dial into the call, they will be able to speak to each other.

Does the Rondee Bridge and Free On Demand Conference Call PIN Expire?

A user recently asked: “I am going to use your free On Demand Rondee service for four upcoming conference calls. I want to make sure the Rondee bridge and On Demand PIN does not expire. Also, is there a maximum number of callers that can use the bridge and PIN?”

Our primary bridge (409-777-9000) does not expire and your On Demand PIN will remain yours as long as you dial-in at least once every six months. The maximum number of callers is 50 for a free Rondee On Demand conference call. If you need more, please contact us for custom options.

How Do I Ensure My Rondee Free Conference Calls Are Not Recorded?

A user recently asked: “How secure are these services? While I know I have the option to not check the box to record, we want to ensure our Rondee free conference calls are not recorded anywhere, for security reasons.”

If you do not activate the recording feature for your Rondee free conference call, Rondee will not record the call. On rare occasion, Rondee may record a call for testing/quality control purposes.

Why Won’t My On Demand PIN Let Me Join a Rondee Toll-Free Conference Call?

A user recently asked: “I can’t join my Rondee Toll-Free conference call. I called the 1-800 number, entered my On Demand PIN, pressed the pound key (#), and was sent back to the main menu. This occurs on both my landline and my cellphone. Please advise.”

I checked your account and neither of your On Demand PINs have been activated for toll-free access. To enable 1-800 access for an On Demand Rondee, log in to your account and click the On Demand link on the left. Click the PIN code link for which you want to enable toll-free access. From the On Demand Conference Options page, select “Yes” from the Toll-Free Access drop-down list box and click the Save Changes button.

Sharing a Rondee Free Conference Call Recording with Others

A user recently asked: “How can I share the Rondee free conference call recording with others after the fact?”

If you are holding a Scheduled Rondee, you and all of your invitees will receive a follow-up email with a link to the audio file (MP3 format). The audio file will be available for listening/download about one hour after the call. NOTE: The recording feature must be activated prior to the call starting. The recording for a Scheduled Rondee will not record multiple conferences within that time frame. For example, if your participants dial in and then later hang up and dial back in again during the scheduled time frame, the recording will be for the longest session. If you want the flexibility to record multiple sessions within a particular time frame, please record with On Demand Rondee.

If you are holding an On Demand Rondee, only you will be able to access the audio file (MP3 format). The audio file will be available for listening/download about one hour after the call. You can sign in to your Rondee account and download the audio file associated with the On Demand Rondee. Once you have downloaded the audio file, you can send it as an email attachment to your participants. NOTE: The recording feature must be switched to ON prior to the call starting. And, if you do back-to-back On Demand calls, the audio will only record for the subsequent conference call if you leave a 3-minute gap between the conferences.

Rondee stores the audio file for 30 days on our server. After 30 days, the audio file is automatically deleted from our server and is no longer retrievable. If you will need to access your audio file after 30 days, please be sure to download it from our server.

When you create your Rondee free conference call account, you are prompted to enter an email address and a password. You do not have to enter your email password there (you could, if you wanted to). Please enter the Rondee password you will use in conjuction with your email address to sign you into your Rondee account. Either way, we are not able to view the password you entered. In the future, if you forget your password, we will only be able to reset it.

Rondee Free Conference Calls Sound Too Good to be True

A user recently asked: “Rondee free conference calls sound too good to be true. Bottom line – I could tell my group: If you have extra anytime/long distance minutes on your cell phone plan, we can talk for free.  Right?”

Yes, that is correct. I have unlimited minutes on my cell phone plan, so I can call into Rondee at no additional cost to me. I also have an unlimited long distance plan for my home phone. So either way, it doesn’t cost me one cent extra to use Rondee from my home or cell phone.

Funding Your Account for a Rondee Toll-Free Conference Call

A user recently asked: “We would like to use the Rondee 1-800 toll-free conference call service, but are unclear about funding. Do we put in extra funds since we don’t know how many callers we will have nor the length of the call? Since we only have one call at this time, we don’t want to leave excess money in the account. Can we withdraw the money we don’t use?”

The cost is $0.05 per minute per caller who dialed the Rondee 1-800 toll-free number, and this amount will be deducted from your account after each Rondee for which you selected the toll-free option.

To charge up your Rondee account, simply log in to your account and click on the link for Premium Services. On that page you’ll see an option in the upper right corner to charge up your account using PayPal.

If your toll-free Rondee balance should go into the negative during a conference call, we will not disconnect the conference call. You will need to add more money to your account before using the toll-free number for your next conference call.

If you have excess money on your Rondee account, you can always request a balance refund. We will glady refund the remaining balance upon request.

Remember, you must activate the toll-free option for your Rondee conference call.

To activate 1-800 access on a Scheduled Rondee, select the Enable Toll Free Access checkbox which appears on the scheduling page when you are arranging that call.
