Using Rondee for Conference Calls with Listen-Only Requirements

Some users write to us and ask “We’d like to use your service to host our company meetings but need to ability to mute callers. How can the host mute the other callers?”

Currently Rondee does not support the ability for the host to mute the other callers.

However, other Rondee conferencing users with this requirement have typically implemented one of two solutions:

1. At the start of the conference call, asking users to press pound 1 to mute themselves (pound 1 will unmute)

2. Issue a “Listen-Only” pins to users.  Rondee assigns each conference a Listen-only PIN (the pin is private unless you, as the conference call arranger, decide to share it with others.)

To find the Listen-Only Pin:

You’ll find it on the page dedicated to that specific Rondee. Just log into your account and click on My Rondees and after that you’ll click on that specific Rondee.  In the upper left corner you’ll see the  “Listen-Only” Pin.  Note:you can only see this PIN if you were the organizer.
