A user recently asked: “Can Rondee provide toll-free numbers to persons without e-mail addresses?”
You can use our On Demand Rondee service to hold conference calls with people that do not have an email address and are unable to receive email invitations. An On Demand PIN code is automatically assigned to you and will remain yours as long as you dial-in at least once every six months. You and your participants just dial (409) 777-9000 (alternate (916) 209-4534) and have everyone enter the same PIN code. If you do not want to use the automatically-generated On Demand PIN code, you can customize your PIN code to something more memorable. As long as the PIN code has not already been taken, it’s yours.
Rondee Toll Free works exactly like regular Rondee except the dial-in number is a 1-800 number rather than a Texas or California number. Also, you can have some callers using the Texas/California numbers and some using the 1-800 number, all on the same call.
To enable 1-800 access for an On Demand Rondee, log in to your account and click the On Demand link on the left. Click the PIN code link for which you want to enable toll-free access. From the On Demand Conference Options page, select “Yes” from the Toll-Free Access drop-down list box and click the Save Changes button.
The cost is $0.05 per minute per caller who dialed the 1-800 number, and this amount will be deducted from your account after each Rondee for which you selected the toll free option.
To charge up your Rondee account, simply log in to your account and click on the link for Premium Services. On that page you’ll see an option in the upper right corner to charge up your account using PayPal.
